The Ministry of Health and Wellness wishes to inform members of the public that the Government of Botswana will receive 404 494 doses of the Sinovac vaccine on Sunday 05 September 2021.

These vaccine doses have been purchased from Sinovac Biotech Company in China through a bilateral arrangement.
After arrival of this consignment, the ministry will resume its vaccination roll out program which is currently at Phase two level of the National Vaccine Deployment Plan.
Further communication on the roll out of this consignment will be made next week.
