Bank Gaborone today announced that Ms Duduetsang Chappelle-Molloy has been appointed to the position of Head: Marketing and Corporate Communication Services (MCCS) effective 01 November 2021.
Duduetsang has more than 18 year’s experience in Marketing and Communications, with 11 years at Executive level in the Financial Services industry.
She holds a Master of Science in International Luxury Marketing from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom, a Master of Business Leadership from University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in the United States of America.
She started off her career in 2003 at Vista and was part of the team that rebranded the company to Orange Botswana. After more than 4 years, she joined the Financial Services industry, as a Marketing Manager at Stanbic Bank. Within a year, Duduetsang was promoted to Head of Marketing and Communications.
Some of her great achievements include: winning several Standard Bank awards, secondment to Standard Bank Africa in Johannesburg as Head of Marketing; Africa and above all, building Stanbic Bank into a number 3 brand in Financial Services in Botswana.
After 9 years, she joined Barclays (Absa) from 2016 to 2018 as Head of Marketing and Corporate Relations. In 2019, Duduetsang went to pursue her Masters in the UK. She returned home at the end of 2020, and started Tusali Marketing Consultancy.
